It’s that time of year when the congregations of the Parish of High Ongar start to think of filling shoeboxes for those living in poverty in Eastern Europe.  If you would like to donate any gifts for inclusion in a shoebox  this year, or if you’d just like to find out more about the shoebox campaign, come to St James Church, St James Avenue on Wednesday 23rd September 10am – 12 noon.

Final packing of the shoeboxes to leave this area  starts in  St Mary’s Church in High Ongar on Sunday 1st November from 10.30 – 12 noon and finishes on Monday 2nd November from  2pm- 4pm  at St James’ Church, St James’ Avenue.
