Baptisms

Our baptism services usually take place in a regular Sunday service, where we celebrate together the visible sign of baptism, which points us to God’s work in us to save us by his grace through our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Weddings

With three churches in one parish, the Parish of High Ongar is able to accommodate almost any wedding plan. Our services help us to be thankful for God’s gift of marriage to us as we begin celebrating your special day.

Funerals

Losing a loved one is a particularly painful time for us all. If you are looking for a funeral services to remember a loved one, we would be happy to help in any way that we can. In addition to hosting funeral services , we are also able to provide helpful community links with bereavement support groups.

Other services

The Parish of High Ongar often hosts or leads a variety of other services, such as commissioning services of people seeking to serve God in a certain way, memorial services of particular people or events, and celebration services to give thanks to God for his goodness to us in a particular area.
