Prayer underpins everything we do in the Parish of High Ongar, and we meet regularly in different places and at different times to pray. We pray for guidance and wisdom in all our endeavours; we pray for our church family and our church leadership; we pray for our community, our local friends and neighbours, and those further away; we pray for our country and its leaders; we pray for the world and areas of conflict; we pray for the environment and God’s beautiful creation, and we believe in the power of prayer to change lives and situations; to heal and to bring comfort …

Join us at one of our regular prayer meetings. Some people sit in silence but feel the peace in the room, others pray out loud. There is no requirement to come prepared.
